New waterproof and illuminated silicone keyboard KWD-85 for heavy-duty work areas
tastaturen.com presents the KWD-85, a new compact and extremely robust silicone keyboard. The entire housing surface consists of a closed silicone mat and thus guarantees a high level of protection against the penetration of dust and water jets up to DIN IP68.
The backlit USB keyboard is also available with an integrated number pad and touchpad on the right side of the case. The stainless steel plate on the back makes the devices particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications in aviation or military use.
With dimmable backlight
The brightness of the background illumination can be regulated with two integrated buttons. Thus, the silicone keyboard is a reliable companion even in the dark. Due to the extremely small dimensions of only 238 x 127 x 16 mm (KWD-85), the devices can fit almost anywhere.
The entire housing surface, i.e. all key caps are integrated in a continuous silicone mat. The lasered key symbols are abrasion resistant and withstand temperatures between 0°C and 60°C, optionally -20°C to 60°C. Easy plug and play is guaranteed via the USB interface.
