IBM connection from 1983. XT stands for eXtended Technology.

Description

The XT connector is the oldest of the keyboard interfaces from IBM. Although the connector is the same as for the AT interface, the protocol is different and cannot be adapted using an adapter. However, there are some keyboards that can be set to the respective protocol.
The XT connection is built on a 5 pin DIN connector with an outside diameter of approx. 13.3mm. It has 5 connections with the following meaning:
AT Stecker Belegung
1) Clock-Signal
2) DATA-Signal
3) not connected
4) 0 V
5) +5 V
