Description

The controller is a component of the keyboard or a mouse replacement that tells the computer / PC which key of the keyboard matrix is pressed or in which direction a mouse is being moved.
The controller also regulates the switching of the status LEDs, such as the shift lock, NUM lock and scroll lock.
Controllers differ among other things by:
Different exits
Different controllers support different interfaces. In the case of keyboards, these are the AT (PS / 2) or serial interfaces. For mouse input devices, these are PS / 2 or serial.
Different entrances
Keyboards are used as a matrix, trackballs and other mice, on the other hand, are connected to the controller via the quadrature.
  • Most of the controllers we manufacture and sell can be customized.
  • In this way, entire sequences of letters can be programmed onto a specific key of a matrix of a keyboard. With mouse controllers, on the other hand, you can adjust the transfer rate, among other things.
  • Just ask us about the right controller for your application.
