www.tastaturen.com presents the TVG-38, a high-grade steel Trackball in front panel version. The advantages of the trackball are the easy integration, the dust- and waterproofness according to IP65 (static) and the individual scaling of the trackball. It is ideal for use in infoterminals. A simple integration in existing systems is ensured by a variety of interfaces.

The Way of Control can be Scaled
|
The 'ponderousness' of the trackball or better said, its pleasant compact mass permits an accurate positioning of the cursor. This is particularly important for the applications in infoterminals, since it must be resistant against the every-day-use of a broad public. The GeBE controller is responsible for the control of the trackball and is therefore able to scale the way of control balistic or non-balistic.

Intelligent Components
|
The high-grade steel trackball with a diameter of 38,10 mm has inserted steel rollers and offers therefore an even more durable position. The short-travel keys in the front panel are fitted in by such an accurate method, that the trackball will be prevented in most cases for vandalism. Moreover, the IP65 degree of protection ensured an application in humidity endangered environments.

| The GeBE controller supports most of the common interfaces, i.e. PS/2, USB, RS232, SUN- and DEC-Mousesystems. Since the standard mouse driver are used, no additional driver is necessary. GeBE offers a customized construction and production in case of demand for other front panel versions (e.g. only with one or three short-travel keys). |
