Description

The Clevy PC keyboard was developed for children aged 3 to 8 years and especially for people with disabilities. It has large buttons that are divided into different color areas.
The specialty is the labeling with small letters, as children often learn these first in school. The keyboard is solid and sturdy.
The Clevy keyboard is not only suitable for children in elementary school or special school, but also for people with diseases such as dyslexia, Parkinson's and Down's syndrome.
Differently coloured keys
  • The differently coloured keys cleverly represent the different functional areas. Blue for letters (light blue for vowels), red for numbers, orange for punctuation and green for actions.
Particularly large, abrasion-resistant lettering
  • Natural midpoints on the upper side of the keytops guide the user's fingers and enable comfortable operation. Furthermore the keys of the Clevy Keyboard are 30% bigger and the characters on them even up to 4 times bigger than those on an average keyboard, making them simpler to find and easier to hit.
  • The keys are 30% larger than on standard PC keyboards. Children find it faster.
  • The keyboard’s housing is designed to guide possible spilled fluids straight through the keyboard, keeping these liquids away from the internal electronics.
Key repeat prevents repeated triggering of a key data.
The key repeat rate is controlled by a switch in the bottom of the case. Regardless of how long a key is pressed, the letter appears only once on the screen. The function keys are also activated via the same switch. For further details see under technical data.
Wireless or USB connection for Mac and Windows
Connection to Mac- or Windows PC either via the USB port (item no. KS2462) or the Simply Works Receive:2 (included with item no. KS2463).
