| The perIPherals specialist GeBE presents at MEDICA 2011 two small membrane keyboards of the GFT-family: GFT-51 keyboard with 51 keys and built-in Touchpad and the external GFT touchpad with two mouse buttons. Both are suitable for hygienically demanding environments. | |
| The keyboards have a comfortable IP 65 degree of protection, which is necessary for the safe use of medical devices. The GFT-51 has, despite of the small size, a full keyboard layout including numeric keypad and control keys. The GFT-Touchpad is a space-saving mouse device for external connection to a keyboard. Both modules can be connected via USB. | |
| Easy to clean | |
| Due to the extremely flat construction of the keyboard surface, it can be cleaned with a mop and disinfect quickly. The chemically resistant decorative membrane keeps keys and touchpad save, preventing the ingress of liquids. Both GFT keyboards stuck in an impact resistant polystyrene case, the keys provide with the built-in metal dome a convenient tactile feedback. | |
