GeBE has integrated a backlit long-travel keyboard in their product portfolio: the KWD-102. The black industrial keyboard even stands out in the dark: 102 green light-emitting diodes have been installed. The green color is no coincidence: according to scientific research, green is one of the most pleasant colors for the eye. In addition, the KWD-102 has a low energy use with a long life span. Integrated mouse function and PS/2 port are optionally available.
Green Light for Data Input
Scientific studies have determined that the human eye is especially sensitized for green. Selecting a light color that is detected with little effort by the eye makes a lot of sense for iluminated devices that are used at the workplace on a daily basis. The green LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) placed inside the keyboard have a positive influence on the reception and the job performance of the user.
Low Energy Use
The KWD-102, a long-travel keyboard with front protection in accordance with DIN IP 65, has porved its worth especially in applications such as warehouse management, energy and manufacturing technology, as well as SMR and drive technology. Due to its low energy use, the user can count on about 100,000 hours of operation.
