| A company deciding to buy a membrane keyboard, often hesitates to invest these high costs. To protect a standard keyboard against contaminants, GeBE Computer & Peripherie GmbH offers special adapted keyboard skins. These skins are made of polyurethane and are shaped to snugly fit the keyboard so that the user gets a completely normal tactile feedback. The skins are molded to fit perfectly onto the keyboard making it resistant against various liquids and dust. | |
| The skins fit perfectly | |
| Keyboard skins are a cost-saving alternative to a membrane keyboard. The skins are made of polyurethane and are perfectly adapted to fit the keys like a second skin. On one hand, it avoids the ingression of liquids and other materials into the keyboard. On the other hand, the foil protects the keyboard to conserve the original design as long as possible. | |
| Environmentally Sound Disposal | |
| The keyboard skins are made of PVC-free material. The producer has made sure not to use polybombated diphenylethers so that no polybrombated dibenzodioxin or dibenzofurane are set free when the foils are disposed of. The skins are quite easy to clean and are resistant against isopropylalcohol, diesel or cleaners. Even motor oil, gasoline or battery acid do not destroy the skins. | |
